From Humble Beginnings

What started as a small coffee cart in 2010 has blossomed into one of the city's most beloved culinary destinations. Founder Sarah Johnson began with a simple mission: to create a space where people could enjoy exceptional coffee and food in a warm, welcoming environment.

After two years of building a loyal following at local farmers markets, Sarah opened the first Brew & Bites location in a cozy 800-square-foot space downtown. Word quickly spread about our carefully sourced beans and house-made pastries, and soon we were serving lines out the door every weekend.

Milestones that shaped Brew & Bites into what it is today

The Coffee Cart Days

2010-2012

Sarah starts serving artisanal coffee from a small cart at local farmers markets, quickly gaining a following for her carefully sourced beans and signature latte art.

First Brick & Mortar

2012

With savings and a small business loan, Sarah opens the first Brew & Bites location downtown, adding a limited food menu of house-made pastries and sandwiches.

Expanded Menu

2015

Chef Michael Chen joins the team, bringing his culinary expertise to expand the menu into full breakfast and lunch offerings with locally-sourced ingredients.

Evening Service

2018

We expand our hours to include dinner service, adding craft cocktails and a seasonal dinner menu that earns us recognition in local food publications.

Best Cafe Award

2023

Brew & Bites wins "Best Cafe" in the City Food Awards, recognizing our commitment to quality, community, and culinary innovation.
